What's Comming Up

On the home front, We lost Hakkon (our surviving black labrador) just prior to Christmas 2011. We got Odin (a yellow labrador) from a SSPCA Rescue Centre in December 2011.
We have had a lot of trees down with the high winds this year. This has meant getting a tree surgeon in to remove the trees bordering Market Cross Vet and the Dentist.

I have been developing the New Newbattle Golf Club Website. This went live on March 5th 2012 and has been a great success.
The new site has staged member access as well as full Administrator CMS allowing the club to manage all aspects of the site, including a new dynamic club diary, Newsletter Management & Club Sponsor Manager.
Work
Work continues on various projects both in and around the house.
Projects
It was a difficult time last year when we lost 2 of our dogs in reasonably quick succession.
Rex had a condition with his heart since birth and Hakkon latterly developed a malignant growth in his mouth. They are both greatly missed.
The Old Boys
Ryder Cup TripWe set off on our biannual trip at the end of September 2012. This years trip is to Villaitana Golf Club (Formerly Real de Faula), Benidorm, Spain.
The GardenA lot of work has been continued in the garden over the summer. This will continue again this year hopefully expanding the varieties of vegetables.
In addition more landscaping will be completed including stair access to the rear lawn.
The Wee ManThe Wee Man continues to grow! He's now running about and speaking!
He loves anything to do with cars and buses.
He is a bundle of joy and is a very happy baby!
